A practice that open with Yin yoga, which is a passive practice of long-held poses, mostly fully seated or reclined on the mat, often supported with yoga blocks or bolsters. The class then comes to its feet for foundational standing postures and balances, and back to the floor for a closing sequence. This practice is suitable for beginners as it avoids some challenging postures, variations, and pacing.
